Description
No two of us cook the same. But we all cook for the same reasons.

Nothing - not even eggs, hash browns, or cheese sticks to this frypan, thanks to the super-tough Duramic nonstick coating. That means you can cook with less added fat. The Duramic coating is 50% stronger than its predecessor, QuanTanium* finish. The frypan comes with its own tempered glass lid, so you can check on what’s cooking without losing heat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the iCook™ Frypans and the Sauté pans? Why do I need both?
iCook Frypans have a nonstick coating and a single-ply body with a sloping edge to make it easy to slide food, like omelets and pancakes, out of the pan after cooking. The Sauté pans have a stainless steel finish and a multi-ply body, for better heat distribution.

What are the handles on my cookware made from?iCook handles and knobs are made from phenolic material, a durable compound that resists heat and wear.

May I put iCook Cookware in the oven? You may use iCook Cookware in the oven or on the stovetop. The pans may be used in an oven at temperatures up to 400 degrees F (204 degrees C). Remember, oven temperatures can vary significantly from the temperature indicator dial. Check the actual temperature occasionally, using an oven thermometer. Never use the pans for broiling, since temperatures can easily exceed 500 degrees F (260 degrees C). Frequent use of this cookware in the oven can dull the appearance of the handles.

May I use iCook Cookware on my ceramic cooktop?Yes. The fully encapsulated aluminum slab base is compatible with all common cooktops, from gas and electric to glass and ceramic stoves.

Do I need special utensils for my iCook Nonstick Frypans?
You may use nylon, plastic, rubber, coated, or wooden utensils and maintain the appearance and performance of the nonstick interior. While iCook nonstick cookware is resistant to damage from metal utensils, it can be damaged if you use metal utensils frequently. Do not use sharp knives directly in iCook Cookware, as the blades will scratch the finish.

How should I care for my iCook Cookware?First use:
Before the first use, wash your cookware in a solution of DISH DROPS® Concentrated Dishwashing Liquid and vinegar, to remove any lingering manufacturing oils and polishes. Rinse thoroughly after washing.

CleaningSince regular dishwasher use will dull the appearance of the handles, hand washing is recommended. After each use, hand wash as soon as possible with DISH DROPS Concentrated Dishwashing Liquid and hot water.

Storage iCook lids nest within the pans, so you can stack them in a cupboard or on a shelf. iCook handles are designed with a hanging hole, so they can also be hung from an overhead cookware rack.

Do I need to season the frypans after using them for a while?Nonstick frypans should be seasoned occasionally by applying oil to the surface of the pan. Do not use cooking sprays on the surface because they leave a residue that is difficult to remove.

I burned some food in my nonstick pan. How can I clean this?Removal of burnt-on food from nonstick can be a challenge because the high heat that has caused the foods to burn can damage the nonstick coating.

If you have burned food in your nonstick pan, place some water in the pan to cover the burnt-on food. Bring this to a boil. Often, this will be sufficient to lift the burnt-on food from the surface of the pan.

It that does not work, clean your cookware using Dish Drops® and the grey scrubber side of the iCook Sponge, which is designed and tested to clean the nonstick surface without scratching. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if needed. When finished cleaning, season the pan by wiping the surface with vegetable oil. Heat on low until the pan is just warm to the touch. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Repeat if necessary.

Cleaning burnt-on food can be difficult and may take some effort. Remember that when cooking with iCook Cookware, you should be cooking at low to medium temperatures. Never leave food that is cooking unattended on the stovetop.

How do I keep iCook Cookware looking shiny? What if I have hard water? It is always best to hand wash pans with Dish Drops Dishwashing Liquid as soon as possible after each use. Additionally, these care instructions will help keep surfaces shiny:

Inside of the pansOnly the iCook sponge, which was specifically tested for use on all iCook Cookware, or another soft sponge, should be used when cleaning the inside of your nonstick frypans. For stubborn stains, first heat the pan on low with a mixture of water, lemon juice, and Dish Drops inside. Let cool and then wash.

Outside and bottom of the pansDo not use SCRUB BUDS®, steel wool, or abrasive powders on the mirror-finish exterior surfaces. For the bottom of the pans, use Dish Drops Dishwashing Liquid for an initial cleaning and L.O.C.® Plus Metal Cleaner to restore shine or remove heat burns or tarnish.
Remove hard-water spots anywhere on the pans by cleaning with either lemon juice or vinegar. For best results, re-season your frypans after any intense cleaning.
